The Norway spruce or European spruce, Picea abies, is a species of spruce native to Northern, Central and Eastern Europe. The colour of the Norway Spruce is a lovely dark green colour and for best needle retention it is important to keep the tree properly watered.
Norway spruce is a fast-growing evergreen conifer which can reach >40m and live for up to 1,000 years! They are tall and straight and of a triangular appearance, with a pointed crown. Norway Spruce are noted for their coppery grey-brown bark which appears smooth, but is rough with papery scales.
Christmas trees are measured from the bottom of the trunk to the tip of the tree. As these are real trees, there will be a natural variation, and sizes may vary by up to 6 inches. Please note this tree will require a pot or a stand.
